Scope: Turn-key noise control measures were taken in order to minimize the airborne sound transmission from the operation of the industrial pumps.
Remarks: The soundproof room had to be carefully designed so the operation of the industrial pumps was un-disturbed and the noise was reduced at the desired levels. Special sound traps were installed for the intake and exhaust of the required cooling air of the equipment.
