Description
SonusFelt-Wood consists of a lightweight and semi-rigid polyester fiber acoustic material with sound absorbing properties. On top of this, timber strips are placed, giving the special aesthetic of wood, and increasing the acoustic properties of the panel. Also, in applications that require high acoustic performance, SonusFelt-Wood has a special design to achieve maximum sound absorption by installing them on a wooden frame that has rockwool or iZiFON slabs 40-50mm thick inside.
They are produced in two basic dimensions 60x60cm & 60x240cm with a thickness of 22mm, and can be combined to create larger surfaces depending on the needs of each project. The special design of the wooden strips helps installation even by inexperienced installers. They can create different patterns depending on how they are installed, making SonusFelt-Wood not only a sound-absorbing element, but also decorative. Three basic wood options are offered as wood cladding, oak, walnut and smoked oak.
As for the acoustic specifications of SonusFelt-Wood, these depend on the installation method, the surface and other data. The weighted sound absorption coefficient per square meter was measured in a laboratory according to the relevant ISO 11654.1997. In the technical form of the product there is the analytical curve of the measurements.
In addition, SonusFelt-Wood sound-absorbing panels are completely safe, non-toxic, non-allergenic and non-irritating. They have resistance to time and good behavior in UV radiation. They are also made of recycled material and can be recycled, making them a product with modern sustainability standards. They are also suitable for use in buildings aiming for LEED certification.
