Description
The WoodSkin Collection has been designed as a curated range of sound-absorbing solutions that capture the warmth, subtlety and timeless aesthetic of wood through high-quality fabric surfaces. The collection is aimed at architects and engineers looking for natural textures, clean lines and reliable acoustic performance within a unified acoustic solution.
The collection combines high-performance sound-absorbing materials with specially developed fabrics, creating a natural and warm aesthetic suitable for commercial, hospitality, educational and public spaces. The wood effect is created on special fabric using dye sublimation printing, giving the surface a realistic finish while preserving its sound absorbing function. This allows the acoustic materials to retain their functionality while enabling seamless aesthetic integration into interiors featuring wood, natural textures and environmentally conscious design.

The collection includes:
- iZiSound WoodSkin – acoustic panels with a velvet texture for spaces requiring sound absorption on wall surfaces.
- ACu.Reverb WoodSkin – acoustic curtains with a wood face for flexible reverberation control. An ideal solution for glass surfaces where drilling or permanent fixtures are not possible.
- ALPHAcoustic WoodSkin AM: Freestanding sound absorbing floor screens. They require no floor fixings and can be moved as room layouts change.
- ALPHAcoustic WoodSkin Desk: Wood effect sound absorbing desk screens. Placed between adjacent workstations, they help improve acoustic comfort.
- ALPHAcoustic WoodSkin Panels – high-quality, high-performance acoustic panels for wall and ceiling applications. The range includes rectangular panels, circular panels and suspended baffle elements.
- ALPHAcoustic WoodSkin Elements – three-dimensional acoustic elements with both functional and purely decorative applications.
- SONUSFelt WoodSkin Fly – cloud-type acoustic panels made from recycled PET felt material. Available shapes include Rec, Kiklos and Cloud.
- SONUSFelt WoodSkin Motif – acoustic panels made from recycled PET felt, featuring the possibility of creating linear and geometric patterns on their surfaces.
- SONUSFelt WoodSkin Beams – suspended sound absorbing ceiling beams with a wood effect finish, available in various sizes. Installed vertically, they can be combined in different ceiling layouts.
It should be noted that, in SONUSFelt WoodSkin products, the core is made of 100% polyester fiber containing a minimum of 65% post-consumer recycled material. The material is both recycled and recyclable.
Acoustic Performance and Wood Aesthetics
The WoodSkin Collection has been developed so that the wood face functions as an architectural feature without compromising acoustic performance. Depending on the product and configuration, the solutions in the collection provide high sound absorption and effective reverberation control. For example, ALPHAcoustic WoodSkin Panels can achieve a weighted sound absorption coefficient of αw = 1 and Sound Absorption Class A, according to the relevant ISO standards. iZiSound WoodSkin panels maintain the acoustic performance of the corresponding iZiSound system, while ACu.Reverb WoodSkin curtains can achieve an estimated αw = 0.7, depending on pleating and the distance from the wall.
Materials and Woodskin Surfaces
The collection offers a range of wood face options, allowing the final appearance to be adapted to the requirements of each project. Available options include different wood-inspired patterns such as Oak, Walnut and Ash, as well as other finishes depending on the product and the intended application.
