At ALPHA Acoustiki SA, we believe that the materials we choose for the spaces where we live and work should serve not only technical performance, but also quality of life. From the very beginning of our journey, we have been seeking solutions that contribute to creating a more human, calmer, and healthier everyday environment, with respect for both people and the planet. In today’s world, where noise pollution and the need for energy efficiency directly affect our comfort and well-being, the choice of natural and sustainable materials has become more important than ever.
Driven by this philosophy, iZiWOOL was created an innovative product that harnesses the benefits of natural materials and combines them with modern expertise. Based on natural sheep wool, iZiWOOL offers high sound absorption and thermal insulation performance, helping reduce reverberation while creating more comfortable and energy-efficient spaces. At the same time, its natural composition and the use of recycled raw materials support sustainable construction and help reduce environmental impact. It is also produced in Greece, ensuring consistent quality and responsible manufacturing.
About Sheep Wool
Sheep wool, the raw material behind iZiWOOL, is a material that nature has been refining for thousands of years. Each fibre acts like a small architectural structure: crimped, elastic, and filled with microscopic air pockets that trap air. This natural geometry provides excellent sound absorption, helping reduce reverberation and create quieter, more balanced acoustic environments.
At the same time, wool can absorb and release moisture in the form of water vapour without losing its thermal performance, acting as a natural indoor climate regulator. In addition, the keratin structure of its fibres offers natural fire resistance, while the absence of irritating fibres makes it pleasant and safe to handle.
iZiWOOL Tecnical Characteristics
Free from mineral fibres and formaldehyde, the product delivers high sound absorption within the critical acoustic frequency range of 250–4000 Hz, reducing reverberation and consequently noise levels. Its natural fibrous internal structure allows sound waves to penetrate the material and be absorbed in the form of heat. The table below presents the detailed characteristics of the new product:
