HVAC Sound Insulation at the Hellenic Petroleum Headquarters

We have successfully completed the Sound insulation study and installation of the noise from a rooftop chiller which is based on the new management building in Hellenic Petroleum close to the city of Athens.

Founded in 1998, HELLENIC PETROLEUM is one of the leading energy groups in South East Europe, with activities spanning across the energy value chain and presence in 7 countries. Its shares are primarily listed on the Athens Exchange (ATHEX: ELPE) with a secondary listing on the London Stock exchange (LSE: HLPD/98LQ).

It has been a great opportunity and honor for us to be able to carry out an acoustic study, selection and installation of the metal noise barriers. The study highlighted the necessary sound insulation interventions that should take place in order to reduce the noise emitted to the management building by the rooftop chillers.

Our company has also completed the outcomes of the study, offering to our client a turnkey solution. More specifically Sound insulation panels ALPHAfon-MB where installed at an appropriate distance.

After the installation of the Noise Control interventions a series of Sound level measurements were carried out in order to quantify the Noise reduction achieved. As the Noise measurements indicated the noise reduction where as calculated and the employees of the building can enjoy a noise free environment.
